Hi Frank, I appreciate your point. But I would like to clarify that I did not know Steve Jobs personally and I am in no position to judge his personal behaviour or attitude towards management. This is not what this post is about.
What I do admire though is the drive to develop good technology. I am clear on what is happening with Apple production in China and I am not happy about that too, yet I remain grateful for the contribution Jobs had to the development of products I am using on a daily basis.
I am also trying to remain respectful to those who pass away. It's so easy to judge people or look for faults in those who stand in the first row. I am sure it is not so easy to stand there and actually deliver.
As for managers - I am not sure myself. I have worked with people who made me cry at work and shaped me into a better person. I respect them the most today.
I have worked with people who were ignoring me or allowing me to do whatever I wish - and actually bullied me into the state of being "no one". Again, it is my personal opinion, but I prefer to be pushed and face higher expectations to learn and over deliver. We all make our own choices about place of work and people we work with. We are all responsible for our own happiness at work.

I also think we should respect the dead for their achievements, not so much their faults.

Thank you for your comment, it puts my original post in perspective and I really hope that it explains it's true meaning.

As for me, it's not about glasses, I wear contact lenses, otherwise I'd be totally lost! It's that I get dizzy and a terrible headache starts right after I start reading while on a car, bus or similar.

To me it's hard to get up early too. But whenever I get over myself and get up earlier than necessary, I feel completely good. Like right now, I woke up an hour earlier and I'm loving every minute of it!

I think Grimm tales are scary, but you know what? Dawid loves them...and I remember I liked them too...somehow the traditional tales are cruel, cold or kind and charming, but teach kids respect and magic, whereas the modern films and cartoons...I do not know if it's down to the language, the speed, the lack of learnings...basing the reasons to watch the film on cool film effects, speed of action and really unimpressive attitudes of main characters..but some of the modern tales have a terrible effect on my son and his peers.

I think those fairy tales for children are really scary, if we take a closer look into them. A wolf eats a grandmother, and then a woodcutter cuts the wolf? An ugly and mean stepmother martyrizes her stepdaughter because she wants to be the prettiest of the kingdom? A vindictive mean fairy is jealous because she wan't invited to the party and makes the princess to sleep 100 years?
I'm not sure these examples aren't as harmful as rhose two mice malevolent chasing a cat.
Maybe I'm wrong, but then again I don't think I am.

Let me explain...it is a good idea to target mainstream audience with this type of music and engaging Polish celebrities, but the execution is really poor. This is intended to be a viral video but it is simply boring.
I would have probably stopped there, but after a short investigation it looks like the cause they are said to be promoting (posted on the blog of one of the project leaders) is not what the video is promoting. It is really an ad of a website aiming to collect commercial donations for various NGO's (Million Dollar Page - like idea really).
3 things bother me as to the transparency of this project:
1. Website is not even in beta yet, so it's hard to see how they will control and report on the flow of money,
2. The video and its description point to two totally different projects which causes confusion, but most of all raises doubts,
3. It all seems like a "like my idea under cover of a good cause" and "I am celebrity, so love me for helping others" + really poor quality of the clip.

Yes, I got a bit upset on this one;)

Dokładnie. Nie ma się więc co dziwić, iż na sieci gwiazdy są mało wiarygodne - z zasady mają w tym własny interes. A szkoda, bo możnaby zrobić z tą sławą i talentem coś dobrego, np: http://youtu.be/sQqCzJjev_8

Internet to ciekawe zjawisko - jak Alex Tew zbudował Million Dollar Website (http://en.wikipedia.org/wik... i ogłosił, że sprzedaje piksele dla czystego zysku, to o wiele lepiej to zabrzmiało, niż to "pomaganie, a w sumie sprzedawanie". Jakoś chyba bardziej cenimy sobie na sieci szczerość, gdyż każdy może publicznie wszystko sprawdzić i podważyć "prawdy"....

'odnoszę wrażenie, że tej produkcji wiele osób przytakiwało' Nie jestem specjalistą , moze jak to bywa w zespole było 'zbyt fajnie' a oceny wyniki pracy bo ktos małomerytorycznie ulubieniec szefostwa albo bo cały świat jest wielki zły według zespołu i nie ma co sie przjmować krytką zewnątrz a wewnątrz nie istnieje bo byłoby nie fajnie a jak jest nie fajnie to zespół raptem przestaje istnieć.

Nie wiem też czy to trywialna myśl czy bardzo obrażliwa dla niektórych opinia ale może takie kampanie służa częściej głównie temu aby ci co uczestniczą , produkują i umieszczają poczuli sie lepiej i żeby nie zaszkodziło to sprzedaży innych produktów :) Pytanie czy tylko temu.
